She believes in a patient-centered approach in which each patient feels empowered to achieve their unique goals; whether it be returning to walking, a sport or being able to pick up their grandchild. Her goal is to help patients overcome physical and mental barriers, to achieve maximal function and to return to the activities they love. Kristina has extensive clinical experience in orthopedics, post-operative rehabilitation, gait and balance training, vestibular rehabilitation, and neuro-rehabilitation. She is trained in restoration of muscle balance and alignment with an emphasis on restoration, recruitment and retraining activities to maximize outcomes. Kristina has completed a research study focused on the high incidence of overuse injuries in adolescent rowers aiming to identify the cause of these injuries and to determine if rowing injury risk can be identified by patterns identified by the newly proposed Rowing Screening Tool.

In her free time, Kristina enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking, training her puppy, and outdoor activities.
